Sleep is the hidden secret to effective learning. Sleep deprivation studies have shown that learners who get higher marks get an average of 35 minutes more sleep per night than those who get lower marks.

Moving from one year group to the next at school can be difficult, no matter what age the student might be. Possible problems and issues that might arise need to be understood and managed successfully if student’s learning and well-being is not to be affected adversely by the impact of changes that come with transition.
