Success Criteria

To successfully understand the importance of sleep and have developed an excellent sleep routine allowing for energy levels during the day to be well maintained.

Learning Outcome:

To learn to have a set routine that ensures the learner maintains their energy levels and does not feel tired as the week progresses.

An introduction to this lesson

Successful people have one thing in common that separates them from the rest; their ability to manage, influence and be in control of how they feel most of the time. This separates them from the ‘average’.

CORE SKILLS TAUGHT IN THIS LESSON:

Develop a Performance Learning® Sleep and Wellbeing Routine

Learn how to not feel tired as the week progresses

Understand the negative impact of sleep deprivation on learning

The Performance Learning® Psychology That Will Be Adopted:

Sleep is the hidden secret to recovery and strength! During sleep, the body fully replenishes itself from the day’s activities and organises in the brain everything learnt during the day.

This lesson will teach the learner the importance of sleep in relation to their schoolwork and learning.

Meet Jack

Hear how Jack changed his sleep routine after learning about sleep in his Performance learning lesson. Hear how he and other learners felt better for making these positive changes to their routine.

I feel happier. I’m not in a mood any more. I feel more awake in my lessons.
